As a product manager, my first step in building an app to help people find parking would be to define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). This means identifying the core features that the app would need to have in order to satisfy the needs of the target audience. To do this, I would conduct user research to understand the pain points and needs of people who struggle with finding parking. Based on that research, I would prioritize the features that are most important to users and that would provide the most value. Some potential features for the MVP could include: - Real-time parking availability updates - Integration with Google Maps or other navigation apps to direct users to available parking spots - Parking meter payment integration - User reviews and ratings of parking spots Once the MVP features have been identified, I would work with a cross-functional team to create a product roadmap and development plan. This would involve defining user stories, creating wireframes and prototypes, and working with designers and developers to build and test the app. Throughout the development process, we would continue to gather feedback from users and iterate on the product to ensure that it is meeting their needs. As the product manager, I would be responsible for ensuring that the app is on track to meet its goals, and for making adjustments to the roadmap and development plan as needed. Given that this project is for Facebook, I would also consider potential integrations with other Facebook products or services, such as Messenger or advertising, to help drive adoption and engagement with the app.
