As the PM for Verified Accounts at Facebook, my primary product goal is to ensure that the verification process is efficient, secure, and transparent for all users. This includes developing and implementing features that streamline the verification process, such as automatic verification for certain types of accounts and improved self-serve options for users. I also aim to enhance the overall trust and safety of the platform by making verified accounts more visible and easily identifiable to users. This can be achieved by creating a badge or some other visual indicator that clearly identifies verified accounts, and by allowing users to filter search results to only show verified accounts. Another important goal is to prevent fraudulent or impersonated accounts from being verified. This requires ongoing monitoring and analysis of the verification process to identify any potential vulnerabilities, as well as implementing additional security measures such as two-factor authentication and enhanced background checks. Overall, my product goals as the PM for Verified Accounts at Facebook are centered around improving the verification process to ensure the safety and security of our users, while also making it easier and more convenient for users to get verified.
